Guardian Coverage Availability & Fees
With Guardian dental insurance, you have multiple PPO plans to choose from. Whether you prefer Bronze, Silver, or Gold, you’ll be free to enjoy the many great benefits provided. While your monthly premium, deductible, and annual maximum may be different from plan to plan, the coverage levels look somewhat similar:
- 80-100% Preventive Care (i.e., Dental Checkups and Cleanings, Dental X-Rays)
- 50-70% Basic Services (i.e. Dental Fillings, Simple Extractions)
- 0-50% Major Services (i.e. Dental Crowns, Complex Extractions, Oral Surgery)
Depending on the type of plan you choose, there is a chance that orthodontics and dental implants may not be covered. If either of these services is one you are interested in, make sure to discuss it with an insurance representative before enrolling in a policy.
Also, most dental insurance yearly maximums range between $500 and $1,000. This is the allotted among your insurance carrier is offering to pay each calendar year. Should you exceed this amount, you will be responsible for the remaining balance. Fortunately, Dr. Kandov and our team will work to spread out your treatments, if possible, across calendar years so that you can avoid high out-of-pocket expenses.
